The Schantz organ, built in Orville, OH and installed in 1957, is a two manual electric action pipe organ. This beautiful instrument has served the congregation faithfully for over 50 years. Saint Luke’s embarked upon a capitol campaign to restore the organ to it original grandeur. As with all instruments, parts wear out with time. Our campaign will renovate the pipes, air reservoirs, and electrical wiring between the console and stops. Renovation is now complete and the only step left is tuning. This is just in time for the organ’s 50th anniversary.
We reached our $85,000 goal and the organ was reinstalled in time for Christmas 2007.
